Northwest College of Construction (NWCOC) administers and provides training apprenticeship programs in a wide variety of construction trades. These programs are registered in both Oregon and Washington. The College also is the training provider for apprenticeship programs administered by other organizations.
These programs/trades include:

Apprenticeship in Oregon and Washington states is a highly formalized (and regulated) form of training. In the following (.pdf) brochure, we have attempted to answer many of the questions that prospective apprentices might ask with respect apprenticeship training. Please review and if you still have questions about apprenticeship at NWCOC, please give us a call. (503) 256-7300
Testimonials
“There were several kids who had a huge confidence break-through as they used the power tools. Several students said they felt like NWCOC would be a great place to learn. It was probably the best trip we have been on yet--an experience that was really good for the kids personally as well as giving them exposure to what the education towards that kind of career would be like. Ken was a fabulous instructor, really patient with the kids, really honest and fun and his "class" piece was informative and helpful too.”
