Dan Graham
President
In 2005 Dan Graham transitioned from his 10-year role as the Workforce Manager with the Associated General Contractors to the President of NWCC. He continues to serve as AGC's Consultant on workforce issues under contract. Prior to AGC, Dan worked in the public sector, at Mt. Hood Community College as Training Director for Steps To Success, a Portland metro region welfare-to-work program. He also has experience with Oregon's Employment Department as well as federal job training programs in the region. Prior to his public sector experience, Dan worked for three years as a marine construction worker for Star Fish Marine Construction in Portland. Dan holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees.
Kirk N. Matteson
Secretary/Treasurer
Currently a Financial Advisor and President of Foxhole Financial LLC, providing financial planning and consulting to institutions and individuals, Kirk was formerly partner in charge of the Moss Adams, LLP, Oregon region construction industry practice group. Kirk’s public accounting career began with the firm of Yergen and Meyer, LLP, in 1977, becoming partner in 1983 and Portland office managing partner in 1996. Working from the Moss Adam’s Portland office, Kirk provided consulting and financial services, including auditing, accounting, tax planning and tax compliance. Kirk has focused much of his practice on the Construction, Real Estate and Manufacturing industries, and has written numerous articles on issues confronting those industries.

Jeanne Staton
Staton Companies
Jeanne Staton is President and an active participant of Staton Companies since its inception in 1971. She brings with her extensive business experience in the trucking industry, and is highly proficient in most aspects of the business.
Being a woman in the male-dominated demolition business has never been a problem for Jeanne. She has worked hard to be accepted as a serious player in the industry. Jeanne is a past president and the first woman president of the of the Oregon-Columbia Chapter of the Associated General Contractors .
Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber appointed her to the Construction Contractors Board where she served until June of 2000. She is active in the National Association of Women in Construction .
Jim Sly

Jim Sly is the President of Hamilton Construction, a company that has been meeting the individual needs of their clients in the bridge rehabilitation and polyester/latex overlay market in the Northwest since 1939. Hamilton Construction has grown from a small firm building concrete roads and irrigation systems in Oregon, to a corporation performing over $45 Million annually in concrete and steel construction throughout the Northwest.

Jim Fisher is President of Fisher Roofing and Construction and a Board member of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland.
Vern Malen
Legend Homes
A native Oregonian, Vern Malen has been in the homebuilding business for over 40 years. His industry experiences have taken him from Oregon State University to Portland to Boise, Idaho to Richmond, Virginia to Boston, Massachusetts and back again to Portland. Along the way Vern has held builder licenses in Massachusetts and Oregon and is currently a Certified Master Builder in Oregon. He has also been a lecturer on Production Management at both nationwide seminars and the NAHB Convention. Vern has been involved with the development and construction of such successful communities in Oregon as Oak Hills, Claremont, Forest Heights and several current Legend Homes communities. Vern is the Production Manager of Legend Homes.
Roy Moore
Moore Excavation
Roy Moore is the President of Moore Excavation. Roy also served as the 2005 President of NUCA of Oregon & Southwest Washington . He is also an active member of the Oregon-Columbia Heavy Equipment Operators Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (Committee) and is a Trustee of the Construction Industry Training Trust.
Melinda Dailey
NUCA of Oregon & Southwest Washington
Melinda Dailey is the Executive Director of the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) of Oregon & Southwest Washington, a position that she has held since 2001. She attended both the University of Oregon and Portland State Universities where she majored in political science. She continues to be "very interested in the governmental process".
Dave Cutz
Paragon Stone & Tile, Inc
Dave Cutz, VP of Finance at Paragon, serves as an ABC's representative to the board. Paragon is a member of ABC, AGC and HBA, and serves as a Training Agent in the college's Tile Finisher & Tile Setting apprenticeship program.
