CONSTRUCTION CAREER WEEK

March 31st – April 4th, 2008

Do you like to work with your hands?  Are you intrigued by how things are built? Now is your opportunity to experience 8 different construction trades through hands-on trade clinics!

Construction Career Week is hosted by the Northwest College of Construction (NWCC), and sponsored by construction companies with an interest in exposing today’s youth to the many rewarding, lucrative and in demand construction careers available to those ‘Born to Build.’  Students will experience eight career tracks taught by NWCC instructors, including:

  • Laborer | Pipelaying           
  • Sheet Metal
  • Brick Masonry
  • Heating Ventilation Air
    Conditioning
  • Carpentry
  • Heavy Equipment Operations
  • Tile Finishing & Setting
  • Concrete Finishing

Students contemplating jobs in the ‘real world’ upon high school graduation will greatly benefit from this experience. Tuition: $25.00 for the entire week; scholarships available.

Monday - Thursday: 7:45 am - 2:30 pm.
Friday: 7:45 - 11:00 am.
