Whether you want to pick up the tools, design and build it yourself, or learn everything you need to know to hire a reputable contractor, NWCC’s Deck Building 101 will bring your closer to your dream deck!

- Explore Deck Design Strategies & Building Principles
- Choose the right decking materials to ensure you can enjoy your deck for years to come
- Learn how to measure materials precisely to prevent ordering insufficient or excess material
- Develop an accurate project budget
- Proper and safe use of hand & power tools
- Step-by-step construction methods

Basic Welding, Instructor: Kym Halstead
Learn to cut, shape and weld metal from certified journeyman welding instructors. Develop the skills required to complete projects from creating metal yard art, to equipment and household repair. You will be limited only by your imagination! Representatives from Maverick Welding Supply will be available to discuss your equipment needs, and provide discounts for welding supplies.
