Welding

This twelve week program is designed to introduce students to practical applications of Welding in a comfortable, safe environment.  This course describes the preparation and setup of arc welding equipment and the process of striking an arc.  It also explains how to detect and correct arc blow and describes how to make stringer, weave, overlapping beads, and fillet welds. This program combines classroom study, curriculum through Pearson Publications and the National Center for Construction Education and Research and practical application in a lab environment.
