Crew Leadership

2 Days (Fri/Sat)
Are you ready to go from skilled craftsman to supervisor?

This 16-hour two-day course will demonstrate the necessity of switching gears from craft worker to leader. Stepping into this role, students will learn effective ways to communicate with all levels of employees, build teams, motivate crew members, make decisions, and resolve problems.

Making the transition from a craft worker to a crew leader can be difficult, especially when the new supervisor is in charge of managing a group of former peers.

Who should attend…
this course is recommended for construction supervisors with two (2) or fewer years of supervisory experience in the field. Individuals with 2-8 years of experience may want to consider the Supervisory Training Program (STP) seminars for supervisors, or the Project Management course for those with eight plus (8+) years of supervisory experience.
