NATE Test Preparation
The NATE program is designed to help the student study the correct materials and gain the knowledge necessary to pass the NATE test. The student should have a minimum of five years in field service or installation experience prior to taking the test. These classes will review the CORE materials during the first two hours of class, and then focus on the materials needed for the specialty exam in which the student seeks certification for the remainder of the class. In order to become certified in a specialty the student must pass the CORE test. The specialty portions of these classes will give the student an outline of the “testable” materials for their certification tests. The classes will be presented for the technician to take the “Service Technician” exam which will also grant them the “Installation Technician” certification upon passing the test. It is highly suggested that installers test at this level as well as the “Service Technician” certification will cover all materials that will be on the “Installation Technician” exam. |
